Only two more days to go, of my entire time at primary school and I’m getting really excited for high school and the holidays so I’ve written this poem about this year. Get ready for Seniors Rewind 2016:


What a year it’s been,

With of challenges,

Like working in groups,

And (With Mr.K) jumping hurdles and hoops,

But some things worked,

And Inquiry perked,

With excursions to the Zoo,

To see animal poo,

What a wonderful year it’s been.

In all my years of primary school I think being in seniors was the most fun time I’ve had during my time here. What was your favourite part of primary school? Anyway until well … Forever I guess:

Consumer Rights

Hey guys,

In writing we have been learning about should be persuasive techniques. To practise our persuasive techniques and to tie in with our Inquiry about how our choices impact the natural world we are writing to some politicians who are voting on Recommendation 12 of the Blewett Review which says that all products should be labelled clearly and correctly to ask them to support this campaign so that Palm Oil is labelled correctly. So I am going to give you of an extract of my writing to get your advice and to see what you think of it. Okay, deep breath, here it goes:

“If you vote for clear labelling you will reduce the the speed of the decline of Orangutan ranks. This outrageous Orangutan obliteration is horrid considering that 80% of Australians want clear labelling on all products so that they have the choice to control how much Palm Oil they consume, if any.”

Interschool Sports: Round One

Hey guys,

Today we had the first round of Interschool Sport. I played Volleycatch and I wanted to share the scores of our three teams. Here they are:

  • Volleycatch: 3 of 4 games
  • Cricket: 1 of 2 games
  • Soccer: 2 of 3 games

I think our school did really well, the funny thing is: We all lost to St. Joseph’s in our first game. Funny huh, I think it’s because we were cursed from the start. What’s your favourite sport? Comment down below. Until next time:


An Immense Pile of Filth

Hey guys,

In Religion over the past few weeks we have been learning about being stewards of the Earth. I am going to tell you what I think of this topic.

I think that creation is a gift of God and we need to take care of all its aspects including: Wildlife and plants among others. We care for creation by recycling and doing many other things. I learnt that Pope Francis wrote a letter to everyone on Earth saying that if we don’t act now our planet will end up as “AN IMMENSE PILE OF FILTH ”.

Interschool Sports

Authors Apocalypse

Hey guys,

In writing I am writing about a zombie apocalypse people from my class in it (Survival-Man/Byron, Mister Doctor Professor Mad Scientist Benjamin/Ben, Mister Doctor Professor Gadget Scientist Thomas/Tom ect.) and I wanted to share it with you guys. Here are my main ideas, I’m not sure if this will make sense but here goes:


  • Mister Doctor Professor Mad Scientist Benjamin has been experimenting with quantum locked objects (Eg. Weeping Angels (See last week!)) and has created a monster Mister Doctor Professor Gadget Scientist Thomas calls the “Other”, commonly known as zombies.
  • The Other escapes and starts rampaging across the globe causing havoc.
  • Senior R zombie apocalypse team have to stop the Other. . .


By writing this I have learnt that Byron has an over inflated ego when it comes to survival and Tom thinks he can draw his way out of any situation. I want to know more about the scientific side of a zombie apocalypse. Can you help me with the special abilities of the Senior R zombie apocalypse team?
